Just to give you a general idea, I am a freshman at Phoenix College and my major is Clinical Laboratory Sciences.  I plan to transfer to ASU to continue my education and receive a bachelors.  After attending ASU, i would like to submit an application at Midwestern University.  I want a career in osteopathic medicine.  My speciality would be facial-cranial reconstruction and correction surgery.  I am motivated to specialize in this field because I would like to help children born with congenital defects and correct such issue.

I currently belong to the A.L.E. club, Rainbow Spectrum, and I founded a new healthcare club; H.C.U.P.'s(Health care united providers pronounced hiccups).  I am the president of the club.  I am a very active member of the clubs especially H.C.U.P.'s.  The goal of the club is to provide volunteer work, scholarships and school activities. 

I also volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.  I wanted to start a relationship with a child to better comprehend their way of thinking and maybe I can consider specializing in pediatric facial-cranial surgery.  I am currently going through training and I am really enjoying it.

In my leisure times I enjoy sketching and painting.  I am fascinated by the human body.  I would sketch bodies in movement and my initial career of choice was art but as I became more involved in biology and science I knew I wanted to do something in the healthcare field.  I am a health enthusiastic and I enjoy physical activity.  I love to read and I love to study.  Art plays a big role in my life.
